Dried wild morel mushrooms have superior meaty, earthy flavor with a smoky and woodsy aroma that comes from the drying process. Also Known as Sponge Mushroom, Merkels, Molly Moochers, Dryland Fish - these are one of the best fungus to rebuild their conical shape. Simply saute with butter, or prepare with cream or wine sauces, serve with pastas or a side dish to meats.

Must be reconstituted and can never be eaten raw. Reconstitute in warm water, stock or wine. Morels require little longer cooking time due to their chewiness.
