Ellen Daehnick always had a vision in her head of how salted caramels should really taste, after trying a bunch that didn’t satisfy her taste buds. After a year of playing around with sugar, butter and cream, she finally found the perfect recipe for a fresh, creamy, non-sticky caramel candy – the way it’s supposed to taste! Inspired by her nickname Helliemae, Ellen handcrafts exquisite caramels with Hell-on-wheel, bad-ass, adventurous flavors with a vintage French candy-cutting and wrapping machine.
