Eliot's Adult Nut Butters are sofi-award winning, small batch, savory nut butters handcrafted out of the Eliot neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.

Michael Kanter was an aspiring chef working in several restaurants throughout Brooklyn, Seattle and Portland, until one day, he began experimenting in his home kitchen in the Eliot neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. He was snacking on some delicious Thai cashews while on his computer and suddenly had the idea of turning them into a nut butter. After tossing them into the food processor, he realized he could do the same with different types of nuts to transform them into savory and spicy spreads. Since then, he has been experimenting with various flavors using only non-GMO North Carolina peanuts to create the grown-up peanut butters that have gone on to become the 2017 sofi Award winners and featured in several food magazines.
