Claire Cheney launched Curio Spice Co in 2015 after a spontaneous 4-month trip abroad in South East Asia. During her stay in Thailand with her brother’s family, she learned a lot about different spices, spice farming and cooking. Over the last decade, she continued her travels to over 12 different countries to source the best spices to bring back to the New England area, where she develops her business promoting sustainability and gender equality.
