Born and raised in Italy, Valter Bovetti grew up working alongside his parents in the kitchen of their family-owned hotel, Da Cesare.
After traveling to Sao Tome, an African island in the Gulf of Guinea in 2006, Bovetti was inspired to make fair-trade artisan chocolate decorated with fruits, flowers, nuts and sea salt.
Dedicated to taste and quality, he has developed his own unique recipe by eliminating soy lecithin, added sugar, vegetable oils and fats - making sure Bovetti Chocolates are made with premium raw materials and an excellent blend of added cocoa butter.
He devotes time to visiting cocoa plantations regularly to connect with local planters and monitor production standards.
